What's better than carving a pumpkin? Not carving a pumpkin! We live in the city and carving a pumpkin for us means MESS, a lot of MESS. So we came up with a cheerier option this Halloween, pressed flower pumpkins! This would look amazing as a fall table centerpiece and can live on long after those other pumpkins have rotted. If you don't have time to press flowers or pick some up you can grab a few dried leaves from your back yard. Make a whole bunch of these beauties and line your stoops with them!
- pressed flowers or dried leaves
- Mod Podge
- paint brush
Figure out where you want your flowers to go and apply a little mod podge to the pumpkin. Place the flower down on the glue and let dry for a couple minutes. Then go over top with another coat of mod podge, carefully since the flowers are fragile. Let dry and enjoy!
