Gather your tools and materials.
Boil 2 cups of water in a pot or kettle.
Pour the water into a mug or bowl and let the tea bag steep in the water for 20 minutes.
Take the tea bag out and let the green tea sit until it is room temperature. Green tea is full of antioxidants and soothes irritated skin.
We included some additional face saving ingredients that you can add to the tea. First is aloe vera liquid (on the left in the snap top container) which works as a stimulator of cell growth and has scar and pain inhibitor properties! Next up is witch hazel (middle vial marked with a black line) which is a natural astringent that can help with acne control by reducing inflammation and decreasing oil. Then we added jojoba oil (on right in the unmarked vial) which lessens irritated skin and promotes natural production of collagen. It protects from sun damage and prevents premature aging symptoms, such as fine lines and wrinkles. It's a one, two, three punch for your skin when added to the green tea!
Pour the jojoba oil, witch hazel and aloe vera liquid into the bottle. You can add all of them or leave them out completely depending on your preference.
Pour in the green tea until the bottle is full.
Screw on the cap and shake the bottle to incorporate all the ingredients.
This facial spray is good to go at room temperature or keep it in the refrigerator for an even more refreshing spritz.
