Time20 minutes + drying time
Gather your tools and materials.
Place a piece of tape perpendicular to your brass pendant about 1" from the top.
Wrap the tape around the back and press firmly all over.
On a scrap piece of paper pour your pyrite and glitter mix into a pile.
Glue one side of the pendant from the edge of the tape down to the bottom
Press the glue side down into the mix, gently. Make sure to cover all of the glue.
Swipe across the edges to remove any of the mix that crept onto the sides.
Set the pendant on a flat surface to dry for at least 4 hours hours before moving on to the next step.
Open one jump ring by twisting it open with your chain nose pliers. Thread the open jump ring through the hole on the pendant and shut the jump ring by twisting in the opposite direction as opening.
Thread the chain through the jump ring.
On one end of the chain add the lobster clasp by using an open jump ring to attach it.
On the other end of the chain attach two jump rings to the end to act as the catch for the lobster clasp.
You can make this necklace any length you would like, simply by trimming the chain to your desired length with a pair of jewelry clippers. This necklace makes an excellent wear alone or layered with other necklace lengths.
