Honey Nectar Collection

Linden Ring

  • Linden_2 Pin-it%402x

Details

This piece may be small but it packs a punch! Make a statement with this chunky cocktail ring. The combination of peach and pink glass rhinestones, and the gold plated base let this piece work on it's own. Pair with your favorite little black dress and watch it sparkle as you lift a cocktail to your lips.

Tools

  • E6000 glue
  • wood skewer (optional)
  • paper towel

Materials

  • gold plated ring base
  • peach glass rhinestone
  • pink baguette rhinestones

Time

10 minutes + drying time
Lr-1 Pin-it%402x

Gather your tools and materials.

Lr-2 Pin-it%402x

Open the glue and put a generous amount onto the back of the peach glass rhinestone.

Lr-3 Pin-it%402x

Place the peach rhinestone on the flat center of the ring base. Wiggle slightly back and forth to distribute the glue evenly.

Lr-4 Pin-it%402x

Add some glue to the back of one pink baguette rhinestone. You can use a wood skewer for more precise application but that's totally optional. You can also just put some onto the back straight from the tube.

Lr-5 Pin-it%402x

Place the first baguette onto one side of the peach rhinestone. Pushing it all the way to the top.

Lr-6 Pin-it%402x

Put glue on the back of the remaining rhinestones and line them up on the sides. Make sure there is enough glue to secure a good hold.

Lr-7 Pin-it%402x

Adjust the rhinestones while the glue is still wet so they are all evenly lined up. Let dry for at least 12 hours before wearing.

After only wearing this ring twice, most of the gold has rubbed off the side of the ring. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?

I absolutely love this ring! Unfortunately, one of the pink stones fell out of the setting. Where can I get another? Thanks!

The same thing happened to mine, @staciebrown - I wore it once and the gold plating rubbed off. I'm wondering if anything can be done to protect these sorts of gold plated jewelry components so this doesn't happen? I've had this happen a couple of times so far.

Esprague, back in the day, my friends and I used to use a thin coat of clear nail polish on gold plated costume jewelry. That might help.

I totally love this ring, but one of my pink stones fell out of its setting as well! How can I get a replacement stone? I am dying to wear the ring again!!

I'm in love with this ring so I wasn't going to say anything but then one of the little pink stones fell out :( so I figured I would tell you that I think I may have received a bad stone for the center as well. The flat part on top is off to the side and the outer edges by the base have some kind of metallic paint in blotches around it....looking at other pictures I think I just got a bad one. If its possible to send out a new one that would be amazing! (as long as I can get the others off the base of the ring! lol)
