Gather your tools and materials. You'll need a pair of scissors for this project.
Thread one side of the elastic through one set of holes in the rhinestone setting. Repeat for the other side of elastic and second set of holes. Tip: you can cut a point at the end of your elastic to help with threading it through the holes.
Pull the rhinestone to the middle of the elastic cord. You should have two even lengths of elastic hanging out.
Start threading the gold beads onto one side of the elastic.
As a reference guide, 31 beads (on one side) is approximately a ring size 7. Add or subtract beads to adjust for your ring size.
Thread the exact same amount of beads on the other side of the elastic.
Carefully measure the ring around your finger. There should be a very slight gap between the end of the beads and the rhinestone. The stretch in the elastic will hold the ring on. Add or subtract beads if needed.
Pull the rhinestone and beads further down the elastic and cut right in the middle of the loop.
Here's the tricky part. Tie one side of the elastic, double knotting the cord. Pull firmly so the cord isn't loose. This is definitely easier if a friend helps you hold the beads and rhinestone in place. Make sure the beads on the other side don't fall off as you tie one side. Repeat the double knot on the other side.
Trim the elastic ends, leaving about 2 mm.
Pull the knot through the hole to hide it, on both sides.
Wear it alone or stacked with other bands.
