Petite La Pouchette
A tiny version of our best selling DIY card case. Break out your scissors and hole punch and craft this leather pouch in less than 15 minutes! Great for organizing your credit cards or professionally handing out business cards. Personalize yours with a racing stripe, a tiny gold initial, or studs.
- hole punch, rotary punch works best but you can also use scissors
- paper template (included in kit)
- silver screw in stud
Gather your materials.
Cut out the paper template with scissors, along the outer black line.
Punch out the holes in the paper template with a rotary punch, hole punch, or small slits with scissors.
Lay out the template so that it fits within the leather.
Trace around the outside lightly with a pencil.
Mark the hole placement with your pencil.
Cut out the leather, following your pencil outline as closely as you can.
Punch your holes. Note that 3 holes are smaller than the one on the top f the template. Make sure to adjust your rotary punch! If you are using scissors you can make 2 tiny slits in a cross shape for all 4 holes.
If you are using scissors for the larger hole make sure to cut off the little corners make by your slitting to make a clean circle for the stud to go through.
Place the screw part of the screw stud through the hole on the left flap of your pouch.
Then thread the right flap on the stud and finally the bottom flap.
Screw on the top of the stud to secure the flaps in place.
Your top flap should have some resistance going on the stud but if it is too hard to get on you can make a teeny tiny slit with your scissors inside the large hole which will give it a little more stretch.
Now, store all of those high profile business cards in style!
