Ritual Leather Rings
Soft leather cord and a delicate brass tube bead make the Ritual Leather Rings our summer go to. Casual and light we love wearing them stacked with other delicate gold midi rings for a layered boho look.

Gather your tools and materials. You can make two rings without a knot or one ring with a knot. If you choose to make the knotted ring you will start at step 9.
Start by wrapping the leather around the finger you want the ring to be worn on and mark where the end of the cord meets to form a circle.
Cut the leather at that point.
Open your glue and put a little bit of glue on the end of the toothpick. Apply the glue in the center of the tube. Roll the toothpick around the tube so that the glue gets all over the inside surface.
Insert one end of the cut leather half way through the tube.
Apply a little more glue to the toothpick and add more to the center of the tube.
Form a circle with the leather and push the other end of the leather into the tube until it meets the first side. Set aside to dry for at least 24 hours before wearing.
You will have enough leather to make a second ring - repeat steps 2-7.
To make the knotted ring start in the middle of the leather cord and make a loop.
Make a second loop (kinda like a double barrel roller coaster). Then take the right end of the cord and go back over the loops and push the end through the loops.
On the finger you would like the ring to be worn, wrap the leather around your finger and mark the center point where the leather meets.
Cut the leather on both sides at the point you determined in the previous step.
Add a liberal amount of glue in the tube using the toothpick. Push the ends into the tube, making sure the ends meet evenly in the center.
Set the ring aside to dry for at least 24 hours before wearing. Stack with simple bands and wear on your next adventure.
